Introduction to Trauma Nursing
This 4 hour course will go over components of the trauma team, triage criteria, the trauma continuum of care. This class will discuss aspects of neuro trauma, chest trauma, abdominal trauma and extremity trauma. In addition, common nursing interventions, prevention of complications and ethical issues will be covered.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
