Stroke Training
The Stroke Training course is designed to help participants prepare to take the NIH Stroke Scale Certification. This course covers what it means to be a Primary Stroke Center along with Stroke warning signs and symptoms, Stroke pathophysiology, differences between hemorrhagic and ischemic Stroke, Stroke scales, assessment, treatment, performance improvement measure and benchmarks. Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
