Restorative Nursing Assistant Prep Course
This class is intended as training for the Certified Nursing Assistant who is committed to improve the quality of patient care through Restorative Nursing. The Restorative Nurses Assistant focuses on improving patient outcomes and restoring patients back to the highest functional level possible. RNA's work with therapist and nursing to help the patient reach their functional goals. The course includes the philosophy and skills and working knowledge needed to obtain certification as a Restorative Nursing Assistant.
Completion of the course competency form is required to complete the RNA training for the Certified Nursing Assistant who has completed 8 hours of classroom training. This form will be given to the students at the class. The Restorative Nurses Assistant focuses on improving patient outcomes and restoring patients back to the highest functional level possible. RNA’s will need to work with therapist and nursing to complete this certification. The completed form will demonstrate qualification for RNA Status. The participant is responsible for maintaining the record of completion in conjunction with class certification.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
