Diabetes / Care of the Diabetic Patient
This program will review the latest research that supports treatment modalities for the diabetic patient. Current regulatory guidelines will be discussed. Critical elements of education programs for diabetic patients will be reviewed. Current techniques for blood glucose testing and insulin administration will be reviewed. Critical Pathways for the diabetic patient will be discussed.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
