Breast Feeding
This course is designed to help OB nurses provide more effective advice and support for the breast feeding mother. Participants will learn how to enhance parent-infant attachment, engender newborn breastfeeding competence and increase patient satisfaction with no increase in staff workload.
***ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Each class participant should bring a baby doll, a pillow, a blanket, and a hospital gown. These items are used during the class for examples and teaching tools.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
