Fetal Monitoring (Advanced) - AWHONN 7th Edition
This one-day course earns 8.0 CNE or 8.0 CNE hours through AWHONN. The Advanced Course is designed for clinicians with at least 1 year of intrapartum clinical experience. Building on skills gained in the Intermediate FHM Course, this course conveys the application of advanced fetal heart monitoring knowledge and skills in intrapartum nursing practice. Using a case study approach to focus on the analysis of complicated FHM patterns/characteristics and related case information, this course emphasizes the following: Underlying maternal-fetal physiology, Intervention, Instrumentation Verbal & written communication skills, and perinatal risk-management principles.
Participants must attend the instructor-led portion of the course and complete the online knowledge integration test with a score of 80% or better, plus complete the course evaluation within 30 days of class to receive CNE credit.
Student Manual must be purchased by the day of class and cannot be shared.
