CNA Course - Basics of Cancer and Cancer Care
This course is designed to give the CNA a basic understanding of various treatments used to combat cancer and the side effects of those treatments. This will allow the CNA to properly care for cancer patients. This will allow the CNA to address both the physical and emotional needs of cancer patients. This class includes information that will help the CNA address the emotional needs of the family as well as be aware of community resources available to these patients and their families.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
