Pediatric Emergencies-EDAP: Part One

This course is EDAP approved. This is specifically intended for the nurse working with the pediatric population. Topics include pediatric triage and assessment, neonatal "red flags" and respiratory and other medical emergencies, pediatric trauma, child abuse/maltreatment, pediatric behavioral issues and pediatric toxicology and environmental hazards. There is also a review of current PALS guidelines for cardiopulmonary arrest.

Attendance for both Part 1 and 2 is mandatory for all CA approved emergency room personnel. Classes must be taken within 4 months of each other.

Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.

Please note processing of certificates may take up to two weeks.
