Twelve Lead EKG
This class is intended for the registered nurse who works in an advanced practice setting such as ICU, ED, PACU or other monitored units. Current techniques to analyze and interpret a twelve lead EKG will be reviewed and practiced. Content will also include the recognition of hypertrophy, myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, bundle branch block and other related topics. Participants must have a working knowledge of basic rhythms. This course requires a RCAT Tool (used for measuring ECG intervals) during the class and for outside homework. RCAT Tool is $10.00.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
Please note processing of certificates may take up to two weeks.
