Class Detail

Dysrhythmia Interp. & Therapeutic Modalities

This class is designed for the (RN/LVN) member of the medical team who may be responsible for interpreting cardiac rhythms and identifying rhythm disturbances. The course will cover rhythm disturbances, therapeutic interventions and management of dysrhythmias.
The program requires homework and study. 24 contact hours will be awarded after attendance of all course meetings and successful completion of a final exam.
The Introduction to Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmias, 4th Edition, textbook will be utilized during this course. An RCAT Tool (used for measuring ECG intervals) is also required during the class and for outside homework. The cost of the textbook and any materials is included in the course fee listed as shown. If you bring the current textbook or materials with you, to the first day of class, you will receive a credit.


Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
