DOU/Tele - An Overview of Core Concepts
This course is designed for the experienced nurse who has current knowledge and clinical skills in the progressive care/telemetry type unit. Advanced care of the patient in the ICU step down type of unit will be emphasized. Knowledge of basic dysrhythmia required. At least 6 months of critical care (ICU, DOU, TELE) nursing preferred. The AACN Essentials of Progressive Care Nursing Textbook, 3rd Edition, is utilized during this course. The cost of the textbook and any materials is included in the course fee listed as shown. If you bring the current textbook with you, to the first day of class, you will receive a textbook credit.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
