CNA Course - Maternal and Infant Postpartum Care
This course will review the key postpartum maternal physiologic and psychological changes, newborn adaptation to extrauterine life, normal physical and neurological characteristics of the neonate. In addition, the course will review skills within the CNA scope that are necessary to postpartum and infant care, such as care and removal of urinary catheters, sitz baths, use of radiant warmer and phototherapy set up and monitoring.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
