Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump
This cardiac course will focus on the use of the Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) in patient’s with cardiac failure. The content is theory based and a refresher of the critical elements of IABP, Clinical Complications, and the Procedure and techniques of Counterpulsation.
Prior knowledge of the cardiac system and its functions required.

Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
