Psych Assessment & Treatment for Acute Care Nurses
This course is designed for those Acute Care RN's and LVN's with little to no Behavioral Health experience that might be required to care for patients with both medical/surgical issues as well as psychiatric issues. The course is designed to review key components of psyche assessment and the mental status examination, as well as psychiatric disorders and treatment options. Tips and techniques for caring for these patients in an acute care setting will be reviewed.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
