Pediatric Conscious Sedation
This course is geared toward nurses caring for the pediatric patient. The course will discuss levels of sedation, effects and mechanisms of action for commonly used medications, components of pre-sedation assessment and review the nurse's role in monitoring the patient before, during and after sedation. The importance of documentation will also be discussed.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
