CNA Course - Care of the Aging Population
NO RN or LVN Credit Available.
This class is specifically intended for the Certified Nurse Aide(CNA), the Certified Home Health Aide(CHHA), or the Restorative Nurse Aid(RNA), in compliance with the Title 22 and certification board continuing education requirements.
This course will review key aspects for caring for those who are aging. A focus of the course will be on observing changes that could indicate failing health as well as a brief review of key disorders that could affect the geriatric population. The importance of proper nutrition will also be reviewed.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
