ACLS Renewal
The ACLS Renewal course is designed for participants with a CURRENT ACLS Provider card. Each participant is evaluated individually on his/her ability to demonstrate core course knowledge and skills while acting as a team leader. Significant precourse preparation is essential to course success. Participants must have the textbook ahead of time and complete the Precourse Preparation Checklist in the Provider Manual. This includes the online self-assessment. Appendix A provides an overview of skills testing expectations.
Participants who do not practice ACLS skills on a regular basis are encouraged to attend an ACLS Prep course prior Renewal or the full ACLS Provider course.
Textbooks are available for purchase at the Flex Ed office or can be mailed ($40 text fee plus $5 for shipping).
** You will be required to present your CURRENT ACLS Provider card the day of the course.
