ACLS Provider
++ Through the ACLS course, healthcare providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. Each participant is evaluated individually on their ability to demonstrate core course knowledge and skills. This course will prepare you to work as a team member and team leader in a code situation.
Participants must have the textbook ahead of time and complete the Precourse Preparation Checklist in the Provider Manual. This includes the online self-assessment. Participants who are interested in a review of ECG's and ACLS Pharmacology are strongly encouraged to first attend an ACLS Prep course. Textbooks are available for purchase at the Flex Ed office or can be mailed ($40 text fee plus $5 for shipping). The last day of 2-day Providers are scheduled for 7 hours.**
